In addition to my earlier review, I’ve had two further developments regarding my Three Skype Phone. One is that it’s possible to use the Phone as a bluetooth modem for broadband-esque internet access from your laptop (this is an out-of-the-box feature, but the supplied software is Windows-only, I managed to get it working in Ubuntu linux).
Secondly, and of most interest to people I’d imagine, is the discovery of a program that allows you to make use of SkypeIn and SkypeOut features on your Three Skype Phone (both are unavailable out-of-the-box). I’ve tested this out and was able to use both services easily, but only on a Windows machine. I’m currently trying to get this functionality running under Ubuntu Linux but no progress yet…
